Our Job:
No Place Like Home Pet Sitters does not accept assignments where a neighbor or friend is asked to split some of the responsibilities. We are only insured for our service so we cannot be responsible for anyone else having access. We may make an exception but this will only be done during a consultation for the services.

Dog Walking :
No Place Like Home Pet Sitters will walk up to 2 dogs at one time provided they are capable of being able to be walked together. We will not walk aggressive or high strung unmanageable dogs. All dogs will be taken out on a leash at all times except in an area that is completely fenced and is approved by the client. We will never leave a pet in the yard when we are not there, it is not safe for us or the pets.

Bad Weather Policy:
No Place Like Home Pet Sitters will make every effort to get to the client's house during bad weather. If we are unable to get to your home we will make arrangements with your emergency contact. You will be refunded for that days service. We also know that bad weather can keep you home and you will not need our services, that day will also be refunded. We will not refund for sick days or personal days.

Rates:
Daily visits include all services available. Each visit is up to 1 hr long. We will spend as much time with your pets as we feel they need but it will be at least your 30 minute time slot or 1hr visit but this may run over if the pet is in need.  There is no extra charge for multiple pets but they must all be members of the same household. Home From Vacation:
No Place Like Home Pet Sitters provides service while you are away on vacation. We do ask that you call us as soon as you return from your trip to avoid any unneeded visits.  This service is provided on a different schedule and may have different rates. We can discuss this upon reserving your dates.

Client Consultation:

Each new client must have a consultation. We come to your home to meet you and your pets and discuss contracts and policies at no charge. This visit is vital to make sure it's a good fit for our service and to allow your pets to become acquainted with your caregiver.

If you chose to use our services it is suggested that we obtain a house key at this time and tour the areas that the pets will have access to. We will discuss where the food and treats are located and go over any daily instructions from you at this time. We will not go into any areas of the home that are not requested. We will also arrange a calling structure so you know the exact times we arrived and the time we leave.

This is a family owned and operated business and all employees are bonded and insured. You will have no fears of allowing us access to your home or pets.

Each clients is required to sign a contract and agreement at the time of reservation. We may also ask that you sign a Vet Release form and a Medication Permission form in case of emergency.

We will NOT accept services for clients who will not provide a key for our safety and the safety of your pets.

Payment for Services:
This is due at the time of consultation for new clients or we will accept 50% at the time of consultation and 50% due on the first days visit.
Existing clients are expected to leave full payment on the first day of scheduled visits depending on what options they chose for payment (see Hours & Prices page).

Check Return for Non Sufficient Funds:
Any returned checks will be subject to a $25.00 charge and service will cease until the payment has been received in either cash or money order.  If No Place Like Home Pet Sitters receives more than 2 returned checks, all future payments must be made in cash or money order.

Key Safety:

We collect 1 key at the time of reservation and will keep this key for future services. If you do not have a key at the time of consultation and we need to return to pick up the key, there will be a $10.00 fee for key pick-up. We will not leave any keys inside the home after our services are complete but we will gladly return it once you are home. This is for the safety of the animals in case extra services are needed prior to your return.

All Keys are kept in a safe locked place.
